We, Spacetech & Group supply Wire Thread inserts, Wire Threaded Inserts are novel and indispensible thread fastening system; provide simple and cost saving for repairing or creating stronger threads. Inserts are precision formed screw thread coils which, when installed into Wire Thread tapped holes, provide permanent and wear resistant thread in parent material i.e. generally stronger than the original thread. The inserts are designed to be greater in diameter than the tapped hole and compress as they are installed. This allows maximum surface contact area with the tapped thread, permanently anchoring the inserts into the place.
Wire Thread Inserts are available in five different lengths which are multiple of diameters of particular insert. These are X the diameter 1D, 1.5D, 2 D, 2.5D and 3D
Free running inserts have a spring like appearance. When installed using any one of a variety of manual or automatic tools they provide strong permanent internal threads which resist heat and corrosion.
Screw locking insert is designed to provide a screw-locking feature which will retain screws or bolts under the most severe vibration or varying temperature conditions. In addition to the benefits afforded by free running inserts, screw locking inserts offer the additional security of prevailing locking torque.
As the bolt is wound through the locking chords of the insert it deflects the wire. This deflection causes the insert to push against the bolt resulting in a repeatable locking function from the insert.
